Every year proud American patriots gather on the 4th of July to celebrate the independence from the British Empire. ‘The Sun Never Sets on the British Empire.” Was the saying by members of the empire representing its global hegemony dominating ancient cultures such as the aboriginals of Australia, India, The Middle East, Africa and the Americas.

Sometimes Americans forget the meaning behind this event and why it is so important to recognize its message so that the this kind of tyranny can never rise to power again. The 4th of July was a day Americans were the David of old up against a great giant Goliath, out armed and out numbered.

However the time was ripe and the energies of the universe aligned to foment the rebellious masculine nature to rise up, to get up. To stand up and fight for your rights as a human being and as a free American bravely confronting the age old tyranny of monarchy.

We often see American celebrating the 4th of July by Bar-B-Q. We all love a good hot dog, sausage, chicken, hamburger or steak cooked on the grill. This represents the Revolutionary War soldiers having to live in the wilderness cooking over an open fire.

2. Americans will Throw some Horseshoes or Cornhole!

Old school Americans will often celebrate the 4th of July by spiking a couple of horseshoe poles and toss some iron. Since the beginning of the United States of America many have adopted the ancient game of Horseshoes using used shoes and a couple of poles to occupy the afternoon.

3. ATTEND A Concert in the Park on the 4th of July

Many summertime communities have free concerts in the park during the 4th of July featuring many oldies but goodies from the golden age of Doo-wop, Motown or good old Rock n Roll from the Boomer era. The best music was in the 60, 70, and 80s still honoring the spirit of independence in musical expression. While in the 90s and on the corporations took over and forget going to a free concert to see any of those manufactured bands.

4.Spending time with Family

Many Americans spend the 4th of July by throwing family reunions during the summertime season coming together cooking food, sharing stories and visiting. In the hectic hustle and bustle of todays society we sometimes forget to value the reasons we work so hard or fight so hard against the snares of the world.
